Homosexuality exists in all human societies and it is only a matter if the society accepts it or attempts to demonize it.

In the case of the Chinese, homosexuality has been documented very early in Chinese history and literature.

In contemporary discourse, homosexuality has sometimes been blamed as negative “western influence”. A perfect case of selective amnesia, supporters of this argument conveniently “forgets” the wide body of literature with references to homosexuality and homoerotic love.

Therefore, nothing is more perverse than westernized Chinese fundamentalist Christians denouncing homosexuality as a form of “perversion” and claiming a “conservative Asian society”!
