A temple in built by the Cantonese community and dedicated to Guan Yin. The temple looks new but was founded in 1823 making it one of the earliest Chinese temples in Yangon Chinatown.

One of their most famous guestswas Mrs. Harry Truman who visited the temple to pray for Mr. Truman’s election results and asked for a prediction of 1948 election.

A clan association and temple built by the Cantonese in Cholon (Ho Chi Minh Chinatown) and dedicated to Mazu, the sea goddess.
Tin How Temple 天后古庙, USA
Founded by the Cantonese and dedicated to Mazu, Empress of Heaven, this is one of the oldest Chinese temples in San Francisco Chinatown. It is also probably the only Chinese temple with its own street name.
